He gave useful instruction for security and best operating practices for our MacBook Pro, was courteous, and responded promptly when contacted.... read more However, he was expensive and didn't solve my problem. My computer kept freezing when opening websites. The problem didn't manifest itself during a home visit for which he charged $100, or during a free 15 minute follow-up visit, and was unresolved. Later, after some research, I contacted him and suggested that the issue might be that our modem needed a firmware update. He requested $125 to return, but refused to make payment conditional on his fixing the problem. I called Macmen. They fixed the problem for $45. It was caused by malware that, aside from preventing me from opening websites also directed me to Yahoo when I performed a search. The Computer Healer technician had noted this Yahoo issue but was unable to remove the malware and didn't realize it was also causing the freeze-ups.
